Latteridge Road

Installation of 3x33kV (630mm²) cables in trefoil and 1x Ø32 duct (for fibre optics) and warning tape over 5.4km. Cable depths installed were 1.4m. Ground conditions were particularly pleasant for the time of year. Hedge crossings and ditches were passed in a number of locations on the route and reinstated within twenty-four hours to minimise the environmental impact. The project team manoeuvred plant and equipment around site and between sections safely with good coordination with Traffic Management on fast moving B Road.
